Doing a safari is on a lot of people's bucket lists. In Uganda, you can see the Big 5 and many other animals you see in other parts of Africa, but you also get to experience something very unique to Uganda - Chimpanzee and Mountain Gorilla Trekking. That's right, you will track a specific gorilla family and then spend about an hour observing them close up, from the little baby to the big Silverback. It's a unique experience that is done in Western Uganda, the primate capitol of the world!
 
     On top of this, we'll do several game drives by 4x4 Land Cruiser, as well as by boat. We'll also have several community engagement activities where we'll volunteer in a primary school that supports orphans and vulnerable children, prepare a meal with the locals and enjoy it together, and visit a Batwa Pygmy village - the oldest indigenous tribe and "Keepers of the Forest" in Uganda. The cherry on top is our last day at leisure overlooking the gorgeous Lake Bunyonyi, where you can swim, kayak, hike, or just reflect back on the unforgettable journey you've been on.
